Welcome to Dallas Pediatric & ID Associates, I am Faryal Ghaffar MD, a mother, a wife and your pediatrician. I hold dual board certifications in Pediatrics and Infectious Diseases. My past experience includes Assistant Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and Director of Vaccine Center at Children's Medical Center of Dallas. I specialize in Birth to Adolescent medicine, management of ear infections, asthma management and management of Infectious Diseases in children.

My practice philosophy is to provide you with cutting edge cure while maintaining the old time flair of a small town physician. I enjoy taking time to answer your questions and explaining my diagnosis and treatment options. Prior to opening my practice in August 2005 I spent 8 years at one of nation's top children hospitals, the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas now known as Children’s Health. I hold the FAAP designation (Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics) since 2000. In my free time I like to spend time with my husband and my two sons, we enjoy traveling and spending time together as a family.
